ÐÔ°É Named a 2019 Bellwether Finalist for Innovative Program
A learning space for ÐÔ°É students to get clinical, hands-on learning in the Physical Therapist Assistant program is being recognized nationally as an innovative workforce development program. ÐÔ°É is a 2019 Bellwether finalist in the Workforce Development category for the creation of the Nate Waters Physical Therapy Clinic at the ÐÔ°É Metro Campus.

Higher Learning Commission Reaffirms Accreditation for ÐÔ°É
The Higher Learning Commission has reaffirmed ÐÔ°É’s accreditation. ÐÔ°É is the largest community college in the state of Oklahoma serving 24,000 students annually in college credit courses.

ÐÔ°É Expands Mental Health First Aid Training with Grant
ÐÔ°É receives a $375,000 grant to expand mental health training for faculty, staff and a select group of students. The grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has a goal to reach most of ÐÔ°É’s full time faculty and staff. So far, ÐÔ°É has already trained 150 faculty and staff in Mental Health First Aid and plans to train an additional 630 faculty, staff and select students over a three-year period.

ÐÔ°É Announces Campaign for Completion
ÐÔ°É kicked off the public phase of Clearing the Pathway: The Campaign for Completion, the largest fundraising campaign in ÐÔ°É’s history. The Campaign will raise $20 million in private funds to support student scholarships, academic advisors, Student Success Centers, science lab renovations and diversity and inclusion outreach.
