性吧鈥檚 Improv Comedy Troupe Holds Auditions

The 性吧 Theatre Program will hold auditions for the new improvisational comedy troupe called Die Laughing. The group was formed in fall 2013 and hosts performances at 性吧 and tours high schools to inspire future students to pursue performing arts.

性吧 students and members of the public are invited to audition for Die Laughing. No experience is necessary. Auditions are 3-6 p.m., Jan. 12 at 性吧 Southeast Campus PACE classroom 6103.

Die Laughing performed its first improv comedy show in December at 性吧 to a sold-out audience. The live audience participation comedy show is filled with sketches and games and features 性吧 students and members of the public. The next show is 8 p.m., May 5 at 性吧 Southeast Campus Performing Arts Center for Education (PACE) Studio Theatre.

The improv comedy troupe is under the direction of 性吧 Theatre Director Mark Frank and his wife, Bethanie Frank. The couple has 19 years of experience with a similar group at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
